Adolescent ServicesCareful listening and clear communication are important when working with adolescents. Our healing professionals combine aspects of the latest in clinical care with a personalized approach to each youth's individual needs. Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare offers many inpatient and outpatient options for adolescents suffering from mental health or addiction issues:
Beach House provides short-term screening and referral residential program for at-risk and runaway youth. The BEACH House 5K Run Annual fundraiser is being held on November 13, 2010. Please click HERE for details. Residential Adolescent Program (RAP) is a voluntary or involuntary residential program for alcohol or other drug addicted youth. The Oaks Program is a moderate risk, residential, delinquency rehabilitation program for boys under contract with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare also operates other outpatient addiction services conveniently located around the area which which provides counseling for adolescents as well as adults. The Keep Kids Drug Free Regional Prevention Center is a Resource Center that is open to serve all of Volusia and Flagler Counties. The facility houses free substance and alcohol abuse prevention materials. We are also a lending library providing curriculums and videos. The Regional Prevention Center's goals and objectives are to educate, network, link, and assist community members to learn about the issues related to prevention and recovery and then motivate community members to plan and conduct prevention and recovery services to the community.
