STEWART-MARCHMAN-ACT FOUNDATION TO HONOR SENATOR EVELYN LYNN AT THEIR ANNUAL DINNER & AUCTION – June 27, 2012

The Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation has announced that the Honorable Senator Evelyn Lynn will be the honoree at the 2012 Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation’s Annual Dinner at the DAYTONA 500 Club on Wednesday, June 27, 2012!

Senator Lynn has had a long and distinguishable career serving our community. Senator Lynn first served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1994 – 2002.  After eight years in the Florida House, Senator Lynn was then elected to the Florida State Senate in 2002 and was reelected every year until 2012, when she will reach her term limits in both the House and Senate.

Throughout her illustrious career in public service and for 18 legislative sessions, Senator Lynn has been a champion for the citizens of her district.  In particular, Senator Lynn has worked tirelessly on behalf of children and families in our community as evidenced by her time as Vice Chair of the Women's Caucus, as a member of Florida Commission on Responsible Fatherhood and by serving on the Florida Commission on Education Reform and Accountability.  These are just a few examples of Senator Lynn’s devotion to serving her district with honor, integrity, and passion.  In addition, Senator Lynn is a Director Emeritus on the Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare Board of Directors.
For more information on the dinner and how to become a sponsor, contact the Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation at (386) 254-1136 or visit www.smafoundation.com
